I am a middle school Science teacher and I absolutely love teaching middle school kids. I've been in my current teaching position since 2017. Before that, I spent 11 years in elementary school teaching mostly 4th and 5th grade, with my first year teaching 1st grade.
I am all about helping middle school science teachers create their best days. I am also big on student engagement strategies. I want kids to enjoy the process of learning. I like to research and implement brain-based strategies, cooperative learning, and learning styles to meet my students' academic and social needs.

Besides teaching, I am a wife and a mom to a second-grader and two young adults. I spend my time outdoors in Arizona during the fall, winter, and spring watching my son play baseball and basketball. We go on bike rides while I run. In the hot summers, we enjoy swimming and staying cool in the AC. I love learning, working toward my goals, watching sports, reading, writing, exercising, and creating things.
